On our way to catch a train home from the Good food and Wine show a few weeks ago, we called in to Alfreds Pizzeria for (you guessed it!) a pizza and glass of red.

We’ve headed down the stairs of this Barrack Street venue 3 times since it opened. Great ambiance, music, lighting – and friendly attentive staff.

Our Flora and Fauna pizza was delivered promptly, perfect crust and tasty toppings. My husband loves his food hot and spicy – and so he can slather his side of the pizza as much as he likes with the hot sauce choices that are provided on each table. A glass of chianti hit the spot nicely, and I loved the back drop for my @winesandbooks photo.
