It’s been a few years since I dropped into a cafe in Nedlands for a coffee or snack. Wow, things have changed since I first started working at UWA many moons ago. My first job was based in a two storey house UWA owned house on the same block as The Tenth State.

I’m consulting on a relocation role at UWA at the moment – and was pleasantly surprised with the venue chosen for a coffee meeting – The Tenth State has lots of different seating options – outside under cover, inside on stools, further back into the building there are a couple of other rooms.

The coffee was perfect and I returned last week for lunch – a spicy chicken baguette – filled with chunks of chicken, melted cheese and grilled capsicum – was a delicious lunch. I had a bacon and vegetable stack today for lunch, delicious! Except I forgot to take a photo….
